Last week was poor on the Creed as the lack of water made fishing more difficult as the week went on.

Fish are there to catch and some anglers who fished early and late were rewarded. The same anglers were careful not to disturb the pool as they approached. Too many anglers either walk up the bank of the pool they plan to fish or stand right on the edge of the pool. Suffice to say there is very little chance of catching scared fish!

Prospects seem better for the coming week as much more rain is forecast. The Creed fishes best with 0.4-0.6 on the SEPA gauge. So far this season the level has mostly been 0.25-0.35
