Competitions - Dates for 2008

Obbe Trophy- Any method- to be fished on Saturday 26th April, Loch Langavat, Leverburgh

Jamieson Cup- Evening fly competition to be fished on the evening of Tuesday 20th May (venue to be confirmed)

Poachers Shield- Stornoway v NUAC v SUAC v Harris- First round Saturday 10th May North Uist. Return leg in Stornoway on 23rd August. If this competition is oversubscribed the club will draw lots.

Junior Club Championship- any method- to be fished on the evening of Friday 6th June 7pm to 9:30pm (venue to be confirmed)

Maciver Cup bait competition (Loch Langavat - Leverburgh)- to be fished on Saturday 16th August

Club Championship- Draw to be left in the hands of Calum Stewart and committee.

In addition to the competitions the association still have the following-
The Cresswell cup for the best trout caught on Langavat from the Boathouse or from competitions.
Mackinnon plate- Best Salmon on Langavat from the Boathouse or club competition.
Maclarty Shield- Best Salmon from North Harris on fly.
Lamont Bowl- Best trout on Lewis and Harris on fly.
