Creed Catch Returns 2007

Salmon 318 with 145 returned

Sea trout 410 with 240 returned

Finnock 501 with 443 returned

This has just come from the secretary. A full breakdown will be provided when I get it.

Were there any fish left to spawn?

From what I have seen, the trout have been very busy on the redds so no need to worry there. The catch just confirmed what we suspected........there was a very good run of sea trout this year.

As for salmon, 172 is a large number to have removed from a small river system like the Creed. We can only hope there were enough salmon left to use all the redds.
