The last two weeks were very quiet on the Creed with low water and mainly calm conditions.Very few salmon came from the river but the lochs gave up a few salmon. Sea trout refused to cooperate in the conditions.

It is a pity because runs of salmon were seen entering the river in early October. If we had a spate then a great finish would have been on the cards!

As it is, the entire system is full of salmon and sea trout so, barring disasters, a good spawning season is assured. There are now about two weeks left for redd cleaning (Murdo, I will be in touch) and anyone interested in redd cleaning or helping with broodstock collection should get in touch with the Secretary.

Now the important bit.........CATCH RETURNS......would all Creed Season Ticket holders please give the Secretary your catch returns as soon as possible. (Including me!)
