Last week started well on the Creed but in midweek when the sun started to shine and the wind died away the fish stopped playing. Several of the fish taken were sea liced which is nice to see at this time of year. Looking ahead to this week, I would expect the lochs to give up a few fish as southerly winds and cloud are forecast. Today, Clachan is at a good fishing level and with only light rain forecast for the week prospects are good on the lochs for a change. The river could give up a few fish but they will be harder to tempt than over the last few weeks.
