The Creed system has been very quiet with the fish deciding not to cooperate with anglers. Plenty of salmon were showing in the river and lochs which kept anglers interested. The Creed is currently running very high and with more rain forecast for later this week plenty catches should be recorded, especially to fly fishers.

The mandatory catch and release period is now in force on the Creed catchment and anyone retaining fish will be barred from the river.

Not many anglers have visited Fhir Mhaoil recently but Langavat continues to fish well with a salmon being boated by most parties visiting the loch. The current high water will encourage new fish into the lochs so the fishing there should only get better!
