Update

The main run arrived right on time at the end of last week. We were fortunate in that the river was running at a height that allowed easy passage from the sea for the fish. Some salmon are getting taken, both on fly and worm, although the river is now a little low for fly fishing. Salmon continue to come into the river of every tide and the numbers seem to be increasing. Being in the right place at the right time seems to be the key as the fish are not hanging about in the lower river. There has been been a very good run of sea trout and finnock this season with good quality fish getting taken from Ois to the Matheson Pool. I would expect the lochs to fish once the level drops a bit. Reports from Langavat are that the fishing is slow for salmon although the trout fishing is good
