Catch Update

The first salmon-10.25 lbs- was taken from the Creed last week from Regis Pool. Despite good water levels and a few fish showing, angling pressure was very light and no more fish were landed. More heavy rain is forecast for the end of this week so hopefully a few more salmon will be landed. Loch Clachan may have been a better bet but has been almost unfished. Loch Langavat prospects for the coming month are very good with the loch very high. It will take weeks for the loch to fall to a level that will discourage salmon to run through the Grimersta system.The loch gave up three grilse on Saturday including a 3.25lbs fish for 13 year old Callum Sinclair-his first ever. Currently the trout fishing on all our lochs is very good.
